WW3 will give us bombers overhead (in our backyards) and invasion forces parachuting down in the near by parks and streets. Russia, China are not nations to be made enemies of.
An American Civil War would 'preferable'. Yes, a Civil War would cause hundreds of millions deaths, but WW3 would cause Billions to die.
