Mel Gibson The Ethiopian Bible Reveals a Side of Jesus Few People Know

For 1,700 years, a council's decision kept this hidden from the Western world. The Ethiopian Bible contains 88 books. 22 of them were banned, burned, and erased from Christianity — but not in Ethiopia. Inside those banned texts is a portrait of Jesus that looks almost nothing like what you were taught.
Mel Gibson has read them. His $100M film drops Good Friday 2027. This is what he found.
📌 The Book of Enoch. The Ascension of Isaiah. The 7 Heavens. The cosmic Christ that Rome tried to erase.

Regarding 'The Ascension of Isaiah', that Isaiah is the author is questionable.
Here are two links of opinions about this book:
Bible Gateway and Bible Hub, my two go to sites concerning scriptures.
I was about to post this book on this Blog/website anyway when I experienced a very brief power outage that turned my computer off, seconds before I was about to start.
To me, this is a sign, a message of our Lord telling not to.

Apocrypha Books

apocrypha, (from Greek apokryptein, “to hide away”), in biblical literature, works outside an accepted canon of scripture. The history of the term’s usage indicates that it referred to a body of esoteric writings that were at first prized, later tolerated, and finally excluded. In its broadest sense apocrypha has come to mean any writings of dubious authority. (source meaning: Britannica)

What are the apocrypha or deuterocanonical books? Definition and Terminology; Historical Context; Content of the Apocrypha; The Canon Recognition Process; Influence of Early Councils and Church Fathers; Reformation and Protestant Views; Literary and Historical Value; Modern Christian Perspectives; Conclusion.

The Old Testament books referred as Apocrypha, are known in the Orthodox Church as the “longer canon” rather than the “Apocrypha,” as they are known among the Protestants—are accepted by Orthodox Christianity as canonical scripture. These particular books are found only in the Septuagint version of the Old Testament, but not in the Hebrew texts of the rabbis.
These books—Tobit, Judith, more chapters of Esther and Daniel, the Books of Maccabees, the Book of the Wisdom of Solomon, the Book of Sirach, the Prophecy of Baruch, and the Prayer of Manasseh—are considered by the Orthodox to be fully part of the Old Testament because they are part of the longer canon that was accepted from the beginning by the early Church.
A similar expanded canon [rule] of Scripture is used by the Roman Catholic Church. In the Jerusalem Bible (RC) these books are intermingled within the Old Testament Books and not placed separately as often in Protestant translations (e.g., KJV).

The following books are available in 3 different translations on Bible Hub (link included), and other online sites.
David Briones: Four Centuries of Silence
"The Apocrypha is a collection of books written in the four centuries between the Old and New Testaments. Though the Apocrypha is not Scripture, many Protestants (including Luther, Calvin, and other Reformers) have found the collection useful historically, theologically, and spiritually. Discerning readers of the Apocrypha gain a fuller understanding of first-century Judaism, including the messianic fervor that led, in part, to Jesus’s passion."
How many books in, (source Bible Gateway Blog)
  • Tanakh (Hebrew Bible): '24'
  • Protestant Old Testament: 39
  • Catholic Old Testament: 46
  • Orthodox Christian OT: 52
  • Ethiopian Orthodox OT: 54 (includes: Book of Enoch and Book of Jubilees)

The Hebrew Bible, also known as the Tanakh, is the canonical collection of Jewish scriptures. It is written primarily in Hebrew, with some portions in Aramaic, and serves as the foundation of Jewish religious life and theology. The term “Tanakh” is an acronym derived from the three main divisions of the text:

Torah (Law) – Also called the Pentateuch, it consists of the first five books of the Bible: Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, and Deuteronomy.
Nevi’im (Prophets) – This section includes historical and prophetic books such as Joshua, Judges, Samuel, Kings, Isaiah, Jeremiah, Ezekiel, and The Twelve (Minor Prophets).
Ketuvim (Writings) – A collection of poetic books, wisdom literature, and historical accounts, including Psalms, Proverbs, Job, Song of Songs, Ruth, Lamentations, Ecclesiastes, Esther, Daniel, Ezra-Nehemiah, and Chronicles.

The Ethiopian Bible’s Prophecies About the Second Coming.

What if the oldest and most complete Christian Bible in existence held secrets about the Second Coming of Christ?
Most of us know Scripture through familiar translations like the King James or NIV. But the Ethiopian Bible, written in ancient Ge’ez and preserved in monasteries for centuries, contains up to 81 books—including the Book of Enoch, Jubilees, and other writings absent from the Western canon.
The message is clear: Christ’s return is certain, sudden, and final. For the faithful, it is a day of hope and joy. For the unprepared, it is a warning to take seriously.

The Book of Jubilees is not Canon, Yet it is the Basis for Genesis

The council that formed an undisputed decision on the canon took place at Carthage in 397, sixty years after Constantine’s death. However, long before Constantine, 21 books were acknowledged by all Christians (the 4 Gospels, Acts, 13 Paul, 1 Peter, 1 John, Revelation). There were 10 disputed books (Hebrews, James, 2 Peter, 2-3 John, Jude, Ps-Barnabas, Hermas, Didache, Gospel of Hebrews) and several that most all considered heretical—Gospels of Peter, Thomas, Matthaias, Acts of Andrew, John, etc…

The Book of Jubilees is an ancient Jewish apocryphal text of 50 chapters (1,341 verses), considered canonical by the Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo Church, as well as by Haymanot Judaism, a denomination observed by members of the Ethiopian Jewish community.

The Book of Jubilees presents a "history of the division of the days of the law and of the testimony, of the events of the years, of their (year) weeks, of their jubilees throughout all the years of the world, as the Lord spoke to Moses on Mount Sinai when he went up to receive the tables of the law and of the commandment" as revealed to Moses (in addition to the Torah or "Instruction") by angels while he was on Mount Sinai for forty days and forty nights. The chronology given in Jubilees is based on multiples of seven. The jubilee year is the year that follows the passage of seven "weeks of years" (seven cycles of sabbatical years, or 49 total years), into which all of time has been divided.

Jubilees 1

2 And Mosheh went up into the mount of YAHWEH, and the splendor of YAHWEH abode on Mount Sinai, and a cloud overshadowed it six days.
3 And He called to Mosheh on the seventh day out of the midst of the cloud, and the appearance of the splendor of YAHWEH was like a flaming fire on the top of the mount.
4 And Mosheh was on the Mount forty days and forty nights, and YAHWEH taught him the earlier and the later history of the division of all the days of the Torah and of the testimony.
5 And He said: 'Incline your heart to every word which I shall speak to you on this mount, and write them in a book in order that their generations may see how I have not forsaken them for all the evil which they have wrought in transgressing the covenant which I establish between Me and you for their generations this day on Mount Sinai.
6 And thus it will come to pass when all these things come upon them, that they will recognise that I am more righteous than they in all their judgments and in all their actions, and they will recognise that I have been truly with them.
7 And do you write for yourself all these words which I declare unto, you this day, for I know their rebellion and their stiff neck, before I bring them into the land of which I swore to their fathers, to Abraham and to Yitschaq and to Yacob, saying: ' Unto your seed will I give a land flowing with milk and honey.

Jubilees 2

Mosheh (Moses) Is Given the complete history from Creation
1 And the malak of the presence spoke to Mosheh according to the word of YAHWEH, saying: Write the complete history of the creation, how in six days YAHWEH ALMIGHTY finished all His works and all that He created, and kept Shabbat on the seventh day and hallowed it for all ages, and appointed it as a sign for all His works.

Jubilees 3

27 And on that day on which Adam went forth from the Garden, he offered as a sweet savior an offering, frankincense, galbanum, and stacte, and spices in the morning with the rising of the sun from the day when he covered his shame.
28 And on that day was closed the mouth of all beasts, and of cattle, and of birds, and of whatever walks, and of whatever moves, so that they could no longer speak: for they had all spoken one with another with one lip and with one tongue.
29 And He sent out of the Garden of Eden all flesh that was in the Garden of Eden, and all flesh was scattered according to its kinds, and according to its types unto the places which had been created for them.

Genesis seems to be an abreviated version of Jubilees.
A Malak is an Angel or Messenger.

My Take

There are many things that are mentionned in the book of Jubilees, that would break the narratives (for Christian or Jewish alike)
You can read above, that animals did speak while in the Garden of Eden. What a sensational information! Yes, Man is the Steward of the Earth, but...
Chapter 4 tells us that Enoch did write his book for the generations to come. He was even the 1st man to learn how to write under the supervision of an Angel, while in hiding in the Garden of Eden.
Chapter 10 hints that God allowed 1/10 of the fallen ones to remain on Earth at the supervion of Satan. Wow! Does this mean that they can still do what they did prior to the Flood?
Oh no, Ephesians 6 is for real! "11 Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
12 For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places."
In Jubilees 33, Reuben laid with his father's wife!
Jubilees 50 gives all the necessary instructions for Shabbath. Oh no, Jews don't need the Talmud with made up traditions, Jubilees covers it all.
etc..
