- Ukraine’s offensive has culminated, in many areas is being overturned by Russian counter-offensives;
- Western military assistance continues to dwindle for Ukraine and is now being divided between both Ukraine and Israel;
- Israel’s military and political leadership have openly announced a deliberate intention to cut off civilians from food and fuel while bombarding them with military aviation and other long-range weapons;
- Israel is contemplating a ground operation into Gaza;
- The Middle East has been pivoting slowly away from US primacy, toward a Russian-Chinese led multipolar order;
- Hamas raids and Israel’s disproportionate response pose a danger to this process - forcing the region to be drawn into an armed conflict at risk of escalating;
- Hamas’ background and actions over the last 2 decades have served US foreign policy objectives, including supporting regime change attempts in Syria and to perpetuate, not end Israeli occupation and military aggression;
- Russia/China seek a two-state solution, in accordance with the UN, and seeks to reshape the region in a way that will make the two-state solution possible;

US polling discovers growing distrust among the American public of the US military, a previously highly trusted institution.
The US military continues to decline as it is used, abused, and exploited in pursuit of US hegemony around the globe.
As the pursuit of hegemony drains America back home, fewer back home are qualified to serve in the military abroad, thus a vicious, inescapable cycle is created.

Russia's War of Attrition to Grind Down Ukraine Forces
Update on the conflict in Ukraine for May 8, 2023…
- Russia adds FAB-250 bombs to its arsenal of precision-guided glide bombs. More FAB-250s can be carried per sourtie and can glide up to 80km, twice the distance as the current, larger glide bombs Russia is using;
- Ukraine shot down one of its Turkish-built Bayraktar TB-2 drones over Kiev after allegedly losing control of it;
- Ukraine’s Air Force spokesman denied claims that Ukrainian air defense forces downed a Russian hypersonic Kinzhal missile. Despite denying the incident, the Western media continues writing articles about the “downing” of the missile;
- PMC Wagner has nearly total control over the Donbass city of Bakhmut. Wagner head Prigozhin has aired differences with the Russian Ministry of Defense publicly in a manner inconsistent with military protocol and discipline;
- Russian commanders have said that after weathering the Ukrainian offensive, they will continue grinding down Ukrainian troops in the same incremental manner they have been throughout the special military operation;
- CNN admits Ukrainian HIMARS are being jammed by Russian electronic warfare, diminishing their effectiveness on the battlefield;
- The EU’s plan to produce “1 million” 155mm artillery rounds per year is still under discussion, when implemented it may take several years to reach the desired output similar to US efforts to expand shell production;

Russian Missile Hit Ahead Ukraine Offensive - War of Attrition
Update on the conflict in Ukraine for May 1, 2023:
- Russia has conducted multiple large-scale missile strikes across Ukraine including the targeting of potential staging activities ahead of Ukraine's spring/summer offensive;
- Russian missile strikes are also exhausting Ukraine's air defense capabilities at a rate difficult for its Western allies to replace;
- Errant Ukrainian S-300 missiles falling into populated areas and causing civilian casualties are now regularly blamed on Russia;
- Several of Ukraine's remaining S-300 systems appeared to be moving into Kherson to provide potential air defenses ahead of the expected offensive but were discovered and destroyed by Russian Lancet kamikaze drones;
- There has a been an up-tick in fantastical propaganda across the West, reflecting the growing issues Ukraine's war efforts face in reality;

Georgia Protests: US Seeks to Open 2nd Front Against Russia
- Protests in Georgia consist of US-backed opposition groups (literally waving US and EU flags) attempting to block a bill to increase transparency behind political groups to reduce foreign interference;
- The US has already once overthrown Georgia’s government in 2003, according to the London Guardian;
- By 2008 after flooding Georgia with weapons and training its military, Georgia attacked Russia, according to a EU investigation;
- The US seeks to stir up trouble in Georgia again to “extend” Russia as explained in detail by the RAND Corporation’s 2019 paper, “Extending Russia;”
- The US has pressured other nations attempting to pass bills to protect against foreign interference including recently Thailand;
