Can't recall the exact year, but it must have been in 1985-86.
Pilot in the back seat was Phil Lockwood.

In The Beginning

6022 years ago (4004 B.C.), God created the Earth and separated it from the Heavens. He also created Mankind and all the creatures that inhabits the Earth.

Less than 100 years later, Cain killed Abel and was exiled.

None know how many sons and daughters Adam had during his 930 year life. Seth (his favorite son) was born when Adam reached 130 years.

Cain took one of his sister or niece, for wife.

Cain and his descendants built the first City. His exiled people populated the whole Earth, by the billions considering Human life span at the time.

By 3300 B.C.the first known civilization Mesopotamia made it’s footprint. Artifacts of Mesopotamia have been found in the past few centuries. Other unknown civilizations had flourished throughout the Earth, some quite advanced, if we consider the finds that to this day we cannot explain.  (Advanced Ancient Civilizations).  There is a strong possibility that ancient civilizations were well versed in genetic alterations and modifications, among other scientific activities. Keep in mind that those intrigued by science had more than a half century of research (if we compare to today's scientists), but instead, had centuries at their disposal for their work.

Something went very wrong. Something that the Creator could not accept. There were Giants in those days. There were also Men unlike normal men, mighty men, men of renown, or men that gave us legends and mythology. Some men were considered gods because of their supernatural abilities. The Earth was filled with violence.  All flesh was corrupt.The fossils of monsters that we find in archeological digs were more than likely not created by God, but by mad scientists.

Around 3100 B.C., God warns Noah and instructs him to build an Arc. Noah labored years to accomplish the task.

By 3050 B.C. Adam, the Patriarch of Mankind, dies.

Around 2900 B.C. one man is taken up to Heaven without experiencing death: Enoch.

Lamech, Noah’s father, dies a few decades before the Flood of 2345 B.C.

2345 B.C. Noah loads the Arc as instructed by God, and the doors are closed from the outside.  Every creature on land is taken by the Flood, all creatures with flight die in the months following.  Only the Sea creatures and the passengers of the Arc would survive the Flood.

The devastation of the Flood.  The violence and the force of the waters literally shifted tectonic plates. Wonders like the Grand Canyon, were made in minutes, as the waters whooshed through the land when the water was drained. Miles high of water returned to the deep, causing havoc on anything solid. Carcasses of land animals were trapped between earth plates and sediments. And as the waters finally settled, entire ancient cities remained submerged. To this day we often discover new ones.

The Old World

Advanced Ancient Civilizations

Most of the recorded History of the World was written post 2300 B.C., unless we look at what was engraved on tablets or ancient constructions.
Two of the most regarded and recognized scripts used as records for the Ancient World are the Cuneiform and Glyphs or Hieroglyphs. It is very difficult to date such carvings whereas on tablets of constructions.

Craft Space or Air?

One could add the engraved images found in 'pre-historical' caves, or the ancient monuments that are still a mystery to us. A few examples would be: Stonehenge; Easter Island; Nazca lines of Peru; and many more... 

Ancient civilizations left us some truly remarkable monuments and artifacts. Some of them are unexplainable due to the degree of technological advances necessary to build them. Some, even to this day would be very difficult to build with our technology. The question is: Who built them?

We assume that the World has only made technological advances, and never regressed. But is this really so impossible that the only answer we have is:
Aliens built them. 
If Aliens built them why are they not present on our World today? When advanced nations colonized primitive natives' lands, did they leave and never returned? The logic to assume such idiocy is simply nonsense.

Non documented History

Traces of not recorded history abound, just as much as disregarded recorded history.

Throughout the ages we have proofs of natural disasters that occurred along historical time lines: Earth Quakes; Volcanic Eruptions; Floods; Tectonic Plate shifts; Fires and dramatic Destructions; Ice ages...

Examples of disregarded history:

Mythology (we call it as such, but the people then probably did not call it that). It is however a very convenient name for us because we can't explain it.

Biblical Records and other scriptures, even though they seem to explain many things, they are an inconvenient reality, that the modern world has come to dismiss for ease of direction.

Mythology speaks of super humans or Gods, powerful creatures and giants.

The Bible speaks of humans living centuries, almost a thousand year in sone cases. It also writes about Giants and super strength (Samson). It also records a man building a huge boat 510 feet long in his back yard with his three sons (it took him a few hundred years to do so, and he must have been a master carpenter with great tools).

Could Mythology and Bible records speak of similar things?

If indeed such Men and creatures existed, what happened?

Well, the Bible speaks of a The Great Flood where everything on Earth perished, but those in The Boat and the creatures that lived in the water. The terrestrial World as we know it is only 4365 years old. Archeology and Oceanography are in the process of many discoveries. We still don't know much of our history, and of our Home, but progress are made, and there is still so much we don't know.

What could have been the population of the Earth in those times? How many died? Did the water recede to the same level as it was? What did remain under water?

That the Waters receded to the same level is highly unlikely since there are many underwater constructions that were found in this Century. The Sea creatures have probably remained the same.

To state a few mind boggling Ancient constructions and discoveries:

• Egypt (pyramids, temples, artifacts as a battery)
• Mexico and the Aztec constructions
• Peru (Machu Pichu, Lake Titicaca underwater city, Nazca Lines, Aircraft like ancient artifacts)
• Noah's ark at Mount Ararat (2 pieces)
• Easter Island
• Stonehenge
• The mounds in USA
• Underground city of Derinkuyu in Turkey
• I suspect many underwater discoveries will be made.

Archeological discoveries

We still have only brushed the surface so to say, considering that the deepest dig ever done is merely of 7.5 miles underground. The mysteries of our Earth are still buried, and we can only hope that some day we will know a whole lot more. Sure, science has many theories, and Science fiction writers, give us so much to look forward to.

We still haven't figured out why the Arctic and the Antarctic are so different. One has life, the other doesn't. Maybe some day, Governments of the World will allow men to search this still undiscovered area.

• 3300 BC. - Early civilizations, Mesopotamia, was located in the area of the Tigris–Euphrates river system, in modern days roughly corresponding to most of Iraq plus Kuwait, the eastern parts of Syria, and regions along the Turkish-Syrian and Iran–Iraq borders. They were Herders, Farmers, had knowledge of Brass and Iron, Cuneiform writing.

• 2300 BC. was the beginning of the first Egyptian civilization followed by the Old Kingdom.
• 2300 BC. The Yellow Emperor is said to be the ancestor of Chinese civilizations.
• 2300 BC. The Hindus Valley civilizations, one the 3 old world early civilizations.
• 2300-2200 BC. Phoenicia: The great navigators, traders.
• 2200 BC. The Mayan civilizations of central America.
• 2200 BC. Traces of Ancient Chosun civilization were found in the areas of Northern Korea, and the south east of today's China. It led to the Gojoseon Kingdom (ancestors of today's Korea).
• 1600 BC. Ancient Greece early stages, to culminate under Alexander the Great of Macedonia.
• 1100 BC.  Birth of the Kingdom of Israel. Under the second King, David, expanded its military power and conquests. The 3rd King Solomon, took the Kingdom to a prosperity known by all neighbors. He actively worked and traded with the Phoenicians and Assyrians. The Kingdom split right after his death (974 BC.). First, the Northern Kingdom was invaded by the Assyrians (Capital Damascus was destroyed).  Later, the Southern Kingdom was utterly destroyed by the Babylonians around 600 BC. The survivors fled or were taken captive.

• 550 BC. The Persian Empire succeeded the Assyrians and the Babylonians, until the Muslim conquest around 650 AD. 
• 500 BC. Roman civilization gave birth to the mighty Roman Empire. It's division and gradual decline until the end of 4th century AD.
• 
• 622 AD The Muslim Empire began with the Islamic Prophet Muhammad, It's expansion under the Umayyad Caliphate (7th century), extended conquests to southern Europe, including North Africa, Caucasus and central Asia until 1099.

• 1200 AD The Aztecs. The Nahua people and the Aztlan migrants formed what was to become the Aztec Empire. It ended with the Spanish conquest under Hernan Cortes. (15th century)
• 1200 AD The Incas begun in the area of Cusco Peru. They were conquered by the Spanish Francisco Pizarro in the mid 15th century.
• 1206 AD Genghis Khan proclaimed ruler of the Mongols. Followed 2 centuries of conquest to create the largest contiguous land Empire in history. Civil war and division ended this huge Empire.
  
• 16th Century saw the rise of the Spanish Empire. It became a global power by the 18th century with the greatest territorial expansion.
• Late 16th Century, the British Empire, a Global power by the late 1800's. Largest Empire in history.
• Late 16th Century, the French Colonial Empire, became Napoleon's conquest Empire in the early 1800's.
• 17th Century Russian Empire stretching over 3 continents, defeated Napoleon's ambitions.
