Garden of Eden before the fall, Adam and Eve were created to be immortals, just like the angels.
God said: “Of every tree of the garden you may freely eat; but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat of it you shall surely die.” Genesis 2:16-17 They disobeyed, and did die. Adam lived over 900 years and died.
Then more disobedience and sin plagued mankind. They continually did evil. The fallen angels taught them technology, science and witchcraft. Some men spent a life time (500 to 800 years) in developing evil sciences. They had time to research, test, implement, improve all sorts of techs and science. They even learned and practiced genetic modifications on men and animals. Genesis 6:12 So God looked upon the earth, and indeed it was corrupt; for all flesh had corrupted their way on the earth. Jubilees 5:3 And YAHWEH looked upon the earth, and behold it was corrupt, and all flesh had corrupted its orders, and all that were upon the earth had wrought all manner of evil before His eyes. Jasher 4:18 And their judges and rulers went to the daughters of men and took their wives by force from their husbands according to their choice, and the sons of men in those days took from the cattle of the earth, the beasts of the field and the fowls of the air, and taught the mixture of animals of one species with the other, in order therewith to provoke YAHWEH; and YAHWEH saw the whole earth and it was corrupt, for all flesh had corrupted its ways upon earth, all men and all animals. Then God decided to wipe it all out: THE FLOOD.
God said said, “My Spirit shall not strive with man forever, for he is indeed flesh; yet his days shall be one hundred and twenty years.” Genesis 6:3 This is how today almost none live more than 120 years. Zechariah 14:1 Behold, the day of the Lord is coming, When Christ returns to make the world his Millennial Kingdom to Reign on earth as King of kings, the curse of 120 years will be lifted and men once more will live nearly a thousand years, that is if they don't sin. "the wages of sin is death" Romans 6:23 Then will come the ultimate and last test for humanity, when Satan and his fallen angels are released to deceive mankind. Some will (to hard for them to live by God's laws) war against God, others will remain faithful. What will follow is Judgement Day: Lake of Fire or Life Eternal as God intended when he created MAN. Revelation 20 And God will live among his people.

The Age of Grace closes with Christ's return and the binding of Satan and his helpers.
The Age of Rest starts with God lifting the curse of 120 years life span. Men will once more live as long as Adam lived after the Fall, unless they sin. Sinners lives will be shortened, while the righteous live hundreds of years during the millennial.
Then, the final test: Satan and his angels will be released, and deceive the nations. Gog and Magog will come against Christ's Kingdom. They will be destroyed, and hurled into the Lake of Fire. So will also be the fate of the men that come against the Lord.
What follows is The Day of Judgement.

Enoch gave birth to the longest living man on record: Methuselah who lived 969 years.
Methuselah’s grand-son Noah was the only one (with his family) to survive The Great Flood.
Enoch lived 365 years, never died but was taken. His life is recorded to be in and around 3200 BC. His manuscript more than likely kept by his son Methuselah, would have been transferred to Noah who survived the Flood. Noah was the grand-son of Methuselah.
Genesis 5
21 When Enoch had lived 65 years, he became the father of Methuselah.22 After he became the father of Methuselah, Enoch walked faithfully with God 300 years and had other sons and daughters.

81:6 “We shall let you stay with your son for one year, so that you may teach your children another law and write it down for them and give all of them a warning; and in the second year, you shall be taken away from among all of them.”

The Ancient book of Jasher, tells us that Enoch as well as his son Methuselah were High Priests of sorts for all the Kings of the Earth.

Just before the Flood, God decreed that Man shall thereafter only live to be 120 years old.

Imagine, a man of science able to pursue his research for 400 years before dying. He could dream it. He could theorize it. He could design it. He could implement it and test it. He could monitor it's use and improve on it...........
