Another reason as to why the 2 events listed in Scriptures involving Gog are 2 separate events.
This is for my brothers and sisters in Christ.
God asks: "When My people Israel dwell safely, will you not know it?"
It refers to a time after the Israelites were scattered, and there no longer is a land promised to Moses, Aaron and Joshua.
A time when Israelites are not found, or are hidden. Today with DNA we now can know who is a descendant of Israelites.
This Gog event (Ezekiel 38) or 'evil plan', occurs during such a time. The Tanakh only readers know it, or maybe not? Maybe they were fooled like every one of us was, before we realized the wickedness of the minions of Gog.
Now for the Christian Bible readers.
The Day of the Lord, the day Christ returns.
Another Gog event in Revelation 20. This one will occur after Isaiah 11 is fulfilled and a thousand years of Christ's reign on earth.
He will rule the nations with the 144,000 from "the beloved city" (Jerusalem or New Jerusalem, I'm not sure). In those times, ALL will know who Israel the people are.
