A few years ago I tested the temperature of the Moonlight on the same surface, but one in the Moonlight, and the other in it's shadow. It was surprising and revealing. The night temperature was warmer in the shadow and cooler in the Moonlight by about 7 degrees Fahrenheit. One can actually feel it when outside. For warmth, be in the shadow of the Moonlight, or let it cool you by standing in the illumination. Bonfires burn crispier in the Moonlight.
