S. Korean Actress Kim Mi-soo has died suddenly at 29 years old

Her agency Landscape said in statement released on Wednesday: ‘Kim suddenly left us on Jan. 5.
‘The bereaved family is currently very heartbroken by the sudden mournful news.
‘The bereaved are deep in their sorrow at the sudden sadness.
‘We sincerely ask you to refrain from making up rumours or speculative reports so that the bereaved family,
who are in shock and grief-stricken, can reverently commemorate the deceased.

The same lines are repeated over and over on multiple publications. Age varies from 29 to 31.
Is this the New Normal for young people to die suddenly? You know what I'm thinking.

It is very sad nonetheless.

South Korea doesn't have any strict vaccination policies.

However they've taken steps to vaccinate the population.

On 10 February 2021, South Korea granted its first approval of a COVID-19 vaccine to Oxford–AstraZeneca,
allowing the two-shot regimen to be administered to all adults, including the elderly.
The approval came with a warning, however, that consideration is needed when administering the vaccine
to individuals over 65 years of age due to limited data from that demographic in clinical trials.

On 14 April 2021, South Korea reported 731 new confirmed cases, the most since January 2021,
authorities anticipated a possible fourth wave.
Also additional 250,000 doses of Pfizer/BioNTech vaccines arrived the country.
On 29 November, President Moon Jae-in urged the rapid administration of booster shots against COVID-19,
in response to an increased number of severe cases and deaths following the easing of anti-virus rules.
